Sometimes, a single movement speaks louder than words.

A Quiet Storm is the story of a boy who dances to survive. Born from the spark of seeing my own daughter Krump before she had the words to explain why, this film follows Maïto—an extraordinary 14-year-old in Japan whose raw, explosive movement pushes back against silence, pressure, and conformity. What began as a fascination with a viral video became a deeply personal journey through identity, family, and the unspoken love between a mother and her son.

It’s a film about expression when words aren’t enough. About rage, beauty, and the need to be seen.
